China’s Internet users are about to get a major upgrade. This past October, the Chinese government completed a two-year, 2.92 billion RMB project to dramatically build out the country’s core Internet infrastructure. This upgrade will have a profound effect across the country, increasing the speed and decreasing the cost of an Internet connection, and we expect significant ramifications for Chinese digital gamers and the online gaming market at large.
